Article 4-11 WYOMING AIR QUALITY STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS

4-1101     Adoption by Reference.

     The Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations, adopted by the Wyoming Air Resources Council and the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, in effect on date of enactment of this Ordinance, and published by the Division of Air Quality of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, are hereby adopted by reference by the City of Rock Springs. (Ord. No. 2245, 9-16-74).

4-1102     Copy Kept on File.

     A copy of the said Air Quality Standards and Regulations shall be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk, where the same may be examined by any interested party. (Ord. No. 2245, 9-16-74).

4-1103     Penalty for Violation.

     Any person who shall violate any provisions of the aforesaid Air Quality Standards and Regulations, adopted by this Ordinance, within the City of Rock Springs, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not to exceed Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars or may be imprisoned not to exceed three (3) months, to which may be added costs as provided by law. 4-1104     Separate Offenses.

     Each day of violation of such regulations adopted by this Ordinance shall be considered a separate offense, except that in the case of violation of the regulations and standards relating to fugitive dust, adopted by this Ordinance, each trip by any motor vehicle over a roadway or tract of land causing airborne dust in violation of such standards, shall be considered a separate violation, and each trip by any motor vehicle transporting materials likely to give rise to airborne dust, without suitable cover, shall be considered a separate offense.
