Article 5-1 ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES

5-101     Failure to Comply with Provisions of the Traffic Code.

    (a)  It shall be unlawful for any person to fail to comply with any duly adopted provision of Chapter V, "Traffic Code," of the Ordinances of the City of Rock Springs, Wyoming, or any order, rule or regulation lawfully made or promulgated in accordance therewith, including, but not limited to, the provisions of the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on highways, as hereinafter adopted by reference.

    (b)  Any person failing to comply with the provisions of this Chapter, as herein set forth or latter amended shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not to exceed Seven Hundred and Fifty ($750.00) Dollars unless another penalty is hereinafter specifically provided for a particular provision hereof. Allowable costs may be assessed upon conviction in addition to any fine at the discretion of the municipal judge. (Rev. Ord. 1982; Ord. No. 83-30, 12-20-83).
