Article 7-5 INSPECTOR

7-501     City Inspector.

     There is hereby created the office of City Inspector. The City Inspector shall be ex-officio Fire Inspector, Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Gas Inspector, and Plumbing and Sewer Inspector, unless some other person is designated by the Mayor and City Council to act in any of the said several capacities. (ord. No. 37-1, Rev. Ord. 1938; Rev. Ord. 1963).

7-502     Duties.

     Unless otherwise provided, the City Inspector shall fulfill the duties of inspector as specifically set forth in the Building Code, Electrical Code, Gas Code, and Plumbing and Sewer Code, respectively. He shall also keep the records as provided for in said Codes. (Ord. No. 37-2, Rev. Ord. 1938; Rev. Ord. 1963).

7-503     Powers.

     The City Inspector shall have the powers as set forth in the Building Code, Electrical Code, Gas Code, and Plumbing and Sewer Code, respectively. (Ord. No. 37-3, Rev. Ord. 1938; Rev. Ord. 1963).
