Article 11-2 PUBLIC LIGHTING SYSTEM
11-201 Granting Right of Way for Poles and
Lines.
The Union Pacific Railroad Company was granted a right-of-way to erect
poles and lines for the purpose of operating and maintaining an electrical
system in Rock Springs. (Ord. No, 17, 8-8-04; 38-2(a), Rev. Ord. 1938; Rev.
Ord. 1963).
11-202 Amendment Expanding Franchise Right
and Allowing Assignment.
An Ordinance to amend and re-enact the Electric Light Ordinance No. 17,
known as chapter XLIII, of the Ordinances of the Town of Rock Springs,
Wyoming, published by Authority of the Town Council of the Town of Rock
Springs, 1905, by providing for the assignment of the franchise granted
thereby, and extending such franchise to permit the use of the appurtenances
and appliances erected under said Ordinance No. 17, for the transmission of
electricity for heat and power. (Ord. No. 217, 12-10-23; 38-2(b), Rev. Ord.
1938; Rev. Ord. 1963).
