Article 15-3 ROCK SPRINGS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE 15-301 Establishment.
There is hereby
established a board to be known as the "Rock Springs Community Development
Committee," to consist of nine (9) persons to be appointed by the Mayor with
the approval of the City Council; three members to be appointed for terms of
one (1) year each, three (3) members to be appointed for terms of three (3)
years each, and thereafter members to be appointed for terms of three (3)
years. (Ord. No. 2158, 12-27-73).
The duties of such
board shall be advisory only, and it shall provide to the Mayor and City
Council advice and recommendations on matters relating to the exercise of
powers conferred upon it by Ordinance No. 2157, Sec. 15-201 to 15-207, and
on matters relating to Community Development and other City functions as
requested from time to time. (Ord. No. 2158, 12-27-73). The chairman of such committee shall be appointed by the Mayor, and the Committee may adopt such rules and regulations for the conduct of its functions as it deems necessary. (Ord. No. 2158, 12-27-73).
