• Pumpkin Patch - October 

Meander through 20,000 pounds of pumpkins in all colors, shapes, and sizes! You're bound to find a pumpkin that will satisfy for carving, decorating or pie making needs. Weekends feature hot chocolate and activities for the kids. The patch makes for great photo opportunites and school field trips as well.

  • Halloween Stroll
Trick or treat the downtown businesses! While the kids fill their bags with candy, adults can see what the local business have to offer. Watch for the full page Halloween Stroll ad for participating businesses.
  • Santa's Mailbox - December
Write a letter to Santa Claus? Yes kids its true! Santa's waiting for *you*! Starting November 26th -December 17th a special mailbox will be located at 501 South Main These letter will go to the North Pole, Santa will send your reply... faster than Rudolph and the reindeer can fly!!
Santa's Safety Tip: Always check with an adult before giving out any information about yourself.
  • Mayor's Tree Lighting - December 
Start off your holiday season by attending the Mayor's Tree Lighting in Bank Court (D Street). Refreshments and goodies follow at the City Hall.
  • Lighted Holiday Parade - December 
Don't miss the annual Lighted Holiday Parade as it weaves its way through the streets of downtown Rock Springs.   • Wyoming Chocolate Festival - February  
The Chocolate Stroll is a new, fun event held in Historic Downtown Rock Springs where you can taste many different chocolate creations! Over 10 locations downtown will feature scrumptious chocolate desserts for your sampling pleasure.
  • Rods and Rails Car Show - June 
Enjoy a stroll through Downtown Rock Springs while viewing cars, motorcycles and other vehicles showcased in the annual Rod & Rails Car Show!
  • Farmer's Market
Located in downtown Rock Springs on South Main Street from 4-8 pm on Thursdays from July - September . Fruit, vegetables, bread, cheese, salami and many other craft and food vendors will be set up and ready for your business. For more information, contact the Chamber of Commerce at (307) 362-3771.
  • Sweetwater Blues n' Brews - Second Saturday in August

Blues music, microbrews and great food in downtown Rock Springs! Bring your lawn chair and relax in beautiful Bunning Park while listening to live music all day long. Microbrews from Wyoming and surrounding areas will quench your thirst while local vendors satisfy your growling stomach. Whether you come for an hour or end up staying all day, you won't find a better way to spend a Saturday in mid August.
