Programs

The museum offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of patrons.  Tours are available for groups, simply call in advance to schedule.  School and scouting groups frequently visit us when they are working on a history or culture unit.  Please allow at least 1 hour for the tour.  We are also available for presentations in classes or meetings, just call to schedule.

One of our most popular programs is the "From The Melting Pot" cooking classes in partnership with the Sweetwater County Historical Museum.  Classes are held alternately in Rock Springs and Green River and focus on a specific ethnic specialty from one of our famed 56 different nationalities.  Previous classes have included Slovenian Potica, Baklava, Dutch Oven Cooking, and Apple Strudel.  Check the calendar for more information about upcoming classes.  If you would like to teach a class, please contact the museum.
