As part of our commitment to provide citizens with efficient, convenient service, the City of Rock Springs has partnered with Point and Pay© to offer payment of online services over the internet or by telephone.
Point and Pay is not a branch, office or department of the City of Rock Springs. Point and Pay is a third party vendor, operating as a service bureau on behalf of the City of Rock Springs. Any information submitted online or by telephone to Point and Pay (i.e., personal data, credit card account information, etc.) is processed solely by Point and Pay. The paying party needs to know the exact amount of the payment, including fees and convey that amount to Point and Pay. The customer assumes all liability to ensure that the transaction covers the exact amount for payment required by the City of Rock Springs. Any errors or discrepancies in the information submitted to Point and Pay will be the account holder's responsibility.
The City of Rock Springs reserves the right to alter or discontinue the use of Point & Pay as a payment transaction service at any time and without prior warning.
The online payment portal is provided as a convenience to our customers and designed to be available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Payments made will be credited to your account the next business day after payment is initiated. You are solely responsible for making payments prior to the due date, and you are solely responsible for any late fees charged by the City of Rock Springs for payments not timely made. Late fees for payments made using the online payment portal are the same as the late fees charged for mailed payments.
The City of Rock Springs does not charge a convenience fee for using this service. However, your financial institution may charge you fees related to your credit/debit card, including transaction fees or fees for attempting transfers without sufficient funds. If a transaction is not honored by your credit card company or bank a fee may be charged to your City of Rock Springs account.
You acknowledge that the City of Rock Springs will receive certain of your private and confidential information in connection with your use of the online payment portal and that the city of Rock Springs will not rent, sell or otherwise make available to any third party for any reason any of your private and confidential information that personally identifies you, or your payments you make online, other than to provide to Point & Pay or comply with applicable laws or regulations, including government agency or court orders, unless you otherwise expressly agree
