City of Rock Springs, Wyoming

All dogs and cats within the city limits of Rock Springs must be licensed as soon as they reach six (6) months of age and must be licensed every year thereafter. Licenses are effective from the date of purchase, and in order to purchase the license you must supply the following:

• Owner' s Name, Address, and Telephone Number
• Dog or Cat's, Breed, Sex and Color
• Valid documentation of current rabies and distemper vaccinations provided by a licensed veterinarian

• Desert View Animal Hospital
• Mountainaire Animal Clinic
• Sweetwater Veterinary Services

Annual Fees for Dog and Cat Licenses

• $20.00 for each dog
• $10.00 for each cat
• $7.00 for each altered animal (the owner must provide evidence that it has been neutered or spayed).
