RULES FOR OUTDOOR FIREPLACES AND FIRE PITS

Outdoor burning for campfires and cooking is permitted if you follow these rules.

Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in adults. The prompt, effective administration of CPR can mean the difference between life and death. The Rock Springs Fire Department offers American Heart Association CPR to the public monthly.

 

CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM PROGRAM

Each year in America, more than 150 people die from accidental CO poisoning. The Rock Springs Fire Department wants you to be safe from the dangers of carbon monoxide.

 

SMOKE ALARM PROGRAM

A working, properly installed smoke alarm significantly lowers the chances of dying in a fire. The Rock Springs Fire Department wants all citizens of Rock Springs to be as safe as possible.
