City Planner – Full-time, benefited position in the Public Services Division with a starting wage of $45.62/hour. Perform a wide variety of professional and technical duties in the fields of current and advanced planning; to provide information and assistance to developers, the business community, and the public on planning, zoning, subdivision, floodplain, land use, permits and development related matters; and to supervise zoning inspections. The successful candidate should be Microsoft Office proficient. Experience in a planning/zoning and building department is required, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Public Administration or equivalent experience. Possession of, or ability to obtain, certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners, and Association of State Floodplain Managers certification.
