Street Maintenance Worker I – Full-time, benefited position with an entry-level wage of $21.57/hour. Under direction, to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties in the maintenance, repair, and construction of City streets, alleys, storm sewer, drainage ways and other pertinent public properties; to use and operate manual tools and light and heavy power driven equipment; and to perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience performing responsible street maintenance, repair, construction and equipment operation work, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift 100 pounds. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Class B commercial driver's license. An International Municipal Signal Association certification is preferred, but not required.
