Police School resource officers
The Rock Springs Police Department has three School Resource Officers that serve as liaisons between the police department and the schools in our city.Our three school resource officers work full-time in our schools to deal with enforcing city ordinances, security issues during school activities or functions, juvenile problems, and any criminal activity within the school.
The Rock Springs Police Department School Resource Officers (SRO's) perform their daily activities under the Support Services Division of the Rock Springs Police Department

Rock Springs Police Department is responsible for conducting the DARE program within Sweetwater County School District #1 schools. Officer Tracy Frisbee is our department DARE officer. Please contact us with any questions or concerns regarding the DARE program.


Additionally, RSPD will be implementing a Junior Police Academy Summer 2015. 

In this program, junior Officers will be introduced to the many aspects of their local police department. 

They will also experience various law enforcement activities and be familiarized with many of the tools that police use on a daily basis.
