SRO 2018
The Rock Springs Police Department has three School Resource Officers (SROs) who serve as liaisons between the police department and the schools in our city. Our three SROs work full-time in our schools to deal with enforcing city ordinances, security issues during school activities or functions, juvenile problems, and any criminal activity within the school.
The SROs perform their daily activities under the Support Services Division of the Rock Springs Police Department
Pictured above are our three SRO's that work in our communities schools.

Rock Springs Police Department is responsible for conducting the DARE program within Sweetwater County School District #1 schools. Officer Clint Baker is our department DARE officer. Please contact us with any questions or concerns regarding the DARE program.

RSPD hosts a Junior Police Academy in the summer months.

In this program, junior officers will be introduced to the many aspects of their local police department.

They will also experience various law enforcement activities and be familiarized with many of the tools that police use on a daily basis.
